They are suitable for temporary emergency supplies necessary to allow the continuity of operation of pipelines or plants normally supplied by fixed network and also as fixed installations in areas not reached by the gas network (VIRTUAL PIPELINE).

They can be equipped with gas odorization system, metering line and pre-heating system for hot water either electrically or through a thermal power plant.

Pegoraro Gas Technologies CNG station is a solution for guaranteeing the full availability of compressed natural gas in areas where the distribution network is not connected.

We strongly believe that a cleaner world in transportation and industry also requires making natural gas and other gases like biomethane available in areas far from the distribution network. The VIRTUAL PIPELINE guarantees the full availability of compressed natural gas and biomethane in areas where the distribution network is not connected.

All our plans are designed to join the distribution network powered by mobile containers or tank trailers and regulate the pressure of the gas in the tanks due to pressure reduction systems PRS/PRMS. This makes it possible to reduce the pressure from 250 bar to the pressure required for use.

In addition to being the answer for gas supply in remote areas or areas not connected to the line, our solutions are also suited for use in case of emergency. For example, a CNG station is the solution to uphold the operational continuity of pipelines or plants powered by the regular pipelines network in case of supply interruption.

We provide solutions suitable for use with compressed hydrogen gas, compressed biogas, and other types of non-corrosive gases.

Our CNG station can be equipped with a gas odorization system, metering line, and pre-heating system for hot water either electrically or through a thermal power plant.

    Main features of PGT CNG station

    CNG stations manufactured by Pegoraro Gas Technologies can operate with a design pressure of 250 barg, but we also offer tailor-made solutions in case of further needs and reduce it up to a few barg or also mbarg.

    The standard design temperature is between -10°C and +50°C. However, on request, the range can be extended up to -20°C.

    At PGT, we adapt each project to the customer’s needs without providing one-size-fits-all solutions. This is one of our strengths!

    We offer models of CNG station with a flange rating of ANSI1500/2500 and with a filtration system with steel cartridge filters, direct-acting or pilot-operated pressure reducers, and a gas pre-heating system based on PALLADIO  series heat exchangers. This last option is available both in the electric and hot water versions.

    Upon request, our stations can be integrated with a sprinkler fire-fighting system and multiple input connections, up to four, with the possibility of automatic changeover.

    CNG station can have more than one inlet connection to allow multiple connection of trailer and automatic change over.

    All the welds of the plant are verified by NDT like RT, PT, MT, and VT.

    Pegoraro Gas Technologies CNG daughter stations are created respecting the highest international safety criteria and in accordance with the European Directive 2014/68/EU PED. On request, it is also possible to adapt them to the ASME Code.

    One of the latest and most innovative CNG station installations

    Our innovative CNG station was successfully implemented for a private hospital in the UAE.

    This project centered around Natural Gas and featured the installation of a CNG station for VIRTUAL PIPELINE, adhering to the 2014/68/EU PED standard.

    With the destination set for the Middle East, our team developed an automatic forced ventilation system to regulate internal temperature, ensuring optimal operational conditions.

    The CNG station boasts impressive specifications, including a capacity of 500 Nm3/h and a dual line (one in operation and one standby), The solution can operate within temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C and have a design pressure of 300 barg. Maintaining stringent safety measures, this CNG station features a maximum sound pressure noise of 85 dB(A) at 1 m, along with sophisticated gas and flame detection systems.

    Additionally, the CNG station is equipped with a preheating system utilizing dry-type electric heat exchangers, a cartridge-type filter with a clogging indicator, and a direct action active/monitor PRV for pressure regulation. The CNG station‘s modular design is housed within a 10’ ISO.
